Bill Schelly's "Worlds of Wonder: The Life and Times of Otto Binder" is a must-read for serious comics historians, and, I would venture to say, the reissues of Captain Battle are precious gems for readers who get an extra thrill from 1940s characters who fought for freedom on the colorful comics pages. As with his work on the two somewhat similar all-powerful characters of DC and Fawcett comics (Superman and Captain Marvel, respectively), Otto Binder wrote stories for Joe Simon and Jack Kirby's Captain America as well as collaborating with older brother Jack on the equally excellent Captain Battle!
